Norman Rockwell Exhibit!

January 13th we, others from our church and part of Heritage church, took a trip to a Norman Rockwell Exhibit in Nashville, TN. There we joined a tour led by one of our elders and not only learned much about Norman Rockwell's history, but were also able to see several original paintings!
The Family Tree and Murder in Mississippi were just a few.

Although we were not able to take the camera inside we wanted to share these epic photos we took out-side. :)
These are two replica Humvees smashed together with a speaker inside making whale sounds.
Interesting!

We really had fun and learned a lot.
I hope you all enjoyed this update. Have a great day.

Vacuums!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here a vacuum there a vacuum every where a vacuum!
And I'm not kidding.  January 16th at 6:30 in the morning Thomas' first semi-truck load arrived.
A truck packed full with 1,000 vacuums/carpet cleaners were unpacked with a lot of hard work and freezing fingers.

6:30, starting to unload.

The crew started with our family. Shortly after we started several friends came to help.

Robert assorting the accessories.

Help arrives! Daniel and Thomas arranging places to put the pallets. And as I'm sure you can already tell by our jackets it was freezing!

We started moving fast as the sun came up.

Outside, here a few of the unloaded pallets.

The halfway mark.

The last crates to get out of the truck

It's empty!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The rest of the vacuums lined on both sides.

Now to move the boxes from the warehouse to our shop.
8:30 a.m

Unloading the vacuums into the shop.

That's a lot of cleaners!

Almost halfway done!

The crew, getting ready to leave, took a final group picture.

In our guest room.

The rest of the vacuums were put under our carport.

Almost done, 18 more pallets to go.

Finished!
